Hand Embroidered online Silk Kantha Scarf

Our Endeavor is to promote Hand made products from different parts of India. This helps in generating livelihood for the Artisans thereby keeping this rich art alive.

Kantha' embroidery is practiced in Eastern Part of India online (Bengal-Odissa). Rural women hand stitch the fabrics and make different patterns. The entire cloth is covered with running stitches and usually has beautiful folk motifs, floral motifs, animal and birds figures and geometrical shapes. Themes from day to day activities are also a common subject for the embroidery.

Can also be used as a decorative Wall Hanging.
