The Impressionist Garden online travellers notebook is themed impressionist art The journal cover is a fibre art technique I developed using gentle felting and freeform quilting. It is made from teeswater and border leicester wool. The journal was designed with the use of many beautiful hand dyed and vintage art book papers. It has a visible binding with 2 signatures. The closure uses a large vintage lace threaded into the cover. This journal will awaken joy for any lover of Van Gogh, impressionism, art, soft colours, landscape or portraiture. My books are full of fun surprises and interesting ways to journal such as journaling cards with lovely inspired and vintage imagery, handmade journal tags, vintage ephemera, pockets, original art, and overall just lots of sensory fun visuals. There are fun fabric elements and sewing in this book.
This book is soft vover bound with 2 ephemera stuffed signatures. It is a total of traditional 118 pages but many pages have pockets and tucks full of ephemera to expand on your writing experience. There is a lot of creativity in this journal but also a lot of functional journaling space for you to write your stories, ideas, or daily happenings. The dimensions of this book are 11 in. tall 6 in. wide, and the expansion of the book's opening is approximately 3 in. with room for expansion.
