1930's / 1940's Black Velvet Handbag and Muff w/Amber Lucite Zipper Pull
This is a beautiful velvet handbag and muff that is in great condition. The velvet is very soft and matte, feels like cotton or silk based, not synthetic blend of any kind. Vintage velvet is just better than most modern velvets. It does not have any holes or stains. the interior is in good condition as well, and is pretty roomy, you can definitely fit makeup and a wallet and phone. It has a sewn in coin purse, with fully functioning clasp. The zipper works ver well and it has a wonderful amber colored lucite zipper pull that adds a nice space of color. It online has a good amount of coon batting inside. One side has more batting and I think this is meant to face out to add extra warmth for your hands. The fabric inside the muff area is a black flannel and quite cozy. It is also in good condition. It's a wonderful vintage piece and collector's item.
