You can rewind and fast forward while playing but not if you stop it and try to rewind and fast forward. Selling it as is and no returns. I think the gears inside just need a little care but it plays just fine and the sound is fine. Makes a squeaky noise when turning on and stopping and when it starts to rewind or fast forward.
