Product code: Clay Horn, AKA Diamondback Didge, or Serpentine Didgeridoo, Bohemian, Boho, Hippie, Primitive, Folk Art, online Fantasy

This unique Serpentine Didge plays beautifully with very decent back pressure. The undulating snake form is easy to hold onto while playing. And the unique snake's head (complete with fangs!) is sure to get lots of attention. Inspired by the didgeridoos of the indigenous people of Australia, who make them out of hollow cacti or tree branches, this didge is made of ceramic clay. When soft, I extruded the clay through a die cut, and when partially dried, I embellished the body with a chevron texture suggestive of snake skin. It was twice-fired online for strength and decorated with a row of glaze shapes to make a truly unique diamondback didge!

To play it, exhale strongly with lips relaxed, very similar to blowing a raspberry. If you're curious about the "circular breathing" that didges are so well known for, you can find lots of instructions on YouTube, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcyY0tsGm6A.
