online This beautiful brass fillagree frame is French and dates from around 1940 it has a lovely dull antique hue which is picked up in the dull gold vintage braid on the sides of the bag. The frame measures 5 inches wide . The bag itself is made pink and blue woven silk which was once part of an Antique shawl . Very reminiscent of Missoni who based their designs on these Antique shawls . The silk is translucent and when stretched over the pale aqua silk takes on another hue . It is hand beaded with pearls and stretched over aqua silk . The end of the bag is finished with vintage beaded fringing . The interior of the bag is lined in matching silk with vintage ribbon and crochet flowers . A muted Czech vintage brooch lies beneath the handle .
