Adorable handmade, bright colored triangles baby quilt--perfect for a baby shower gift or for your own newborn. I've cut & sewn every bit of this lovely quilt in my small sewing room in Iowa. The top is pieced of 100% cotton fabrics in various colored triangles with white cotton between each. The batting between layers is 80% cotton/20% polyester, which is a good blend for warmth and loft. The backing is a very soft yellow cotton with darker yellow alphabet letters.
I machine quilted this in straight lines around each triangle and on the white strips. I used a double layer of a tiny black & online white striped cotton for the binding, which I machine sewed to the top, then folded to the back & neatly handstitched to finish it. My work and the materials are all high quality--I'm very precise in my work.
This bright quilt can be machine washed & dried as you would wash all other baby items.
