Woodspirit Carving with Ladybug,lol.

Harvested Cottonwood bark is all I use to make of my wood spirits. He has a smooth and natural finish , and some woodburning detailing in the beard and all those wrinkles .
I always leave some of the original rustic bark , just to give him some contrast, between smooth and the surface.
