This listing is online for one Fostoria Glass acid etched "June" sugar pail in their gorgeous Azure Blue color. The sugar pail was made as a blank, and the etching was then done with acid! Fostoria made their June etch pieces during the years 1928 to 1944. The sugar pail is in very good vintage condition, but does have a tiny flaw which is located on the outer edge at the bottom rim (see photos #9 and #10). It consists of perhaps three tiny missing flakes which likely resulted from the sugar pail being bumped by another piece of glassware. The area measures approximately 1/16" by 2/16", and does not go deep into the glass. It is basically located in the milled off area of the pail. The area is not very noticeable when the piece is displayed (as seen in Photo #11 & #12. The sugar pail's metal handle does have a fantastic patina indicative of its age.
