Chapman blown glass flask. Pewter fittings. Leather upper. No lid. Circa 1890s. This flask does contain a great conversation piece within it. I'm sorry if this offends some people please understand that this has just been in my family for years. There is a mummified mouse/rat that is inside of this flask. Story handed down is that the mouse crawled into the flask obviously got drunk couldn't crawl out and has been in there since then. When this occurred that part I can't tell you. I'm 51 years old and I've been hearing this story since I was a child. Because of its age I will not clean up this piece or do anything to it to make it look shinier or better. I don't know online how to clean up a piece like this. And honestly it has its own charm. Hope this goes to a good home and someone who would enjoy its history and strangeness.
