I am Offering a Unique Antique Silver Box!

Oval 800 Silver Italy made box features a hand carved floral ox bone insert with a dark blue enameled background. Bottom is plain. Some rubbing on the bottom from use.

Ornate engraved chased middle.

Gold Vermeil gilding outside and inside.

Front inside rim is stamped '800' with the lozenge maker mark with a center ax bundled with birch sticks Fasces mark. Circa 1934-1944. Silversmith's number 10 and FI for Firenze Italy Province Mark.

Hinged back and closure are nice and secure.

Measures approx. 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2"

Some minor online rubbing to the Vermeil bottom.
