We use 15N20 & 1095 Carbon Steel for making our Damascus steel (512 True Layers 5 Times Folded). Hand Forged to beautiful pattern Damascus steel of this Knife has high quality contents to give an excellent edge and sharp cutting abilities. Hardness of this Damascus steel HRC 58-60 in the lab & been hand sharpened to a sharp edge.



How do we protect our Damascus steel blades from going bad?

1. Coat the blade in a light oil (such as WD-40 or Olive Oil). Oiling a Damascus steel blade can give it a rich luster that with do justice to its natural , gorgeous pattern.
2. Do not store in leather sheath long term (longer than a month) , it can result in blade staining due to absorbent nature of leather.
3. If storing in leather , it is recommended you prep the blade , wrap it in plastic wrap then insert the knife in the sheath.
4. Please avoid using dishwasher for any of online Damascus blade.
