Product code: VTG online 70s Murano Style Venetion Glass Bowl
Vintage Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This style of glassware is usually attributed to Mandruzzato, although other manufacturers have made online similar items, including Oball, Campanella and V. Nason. A stunning combination of cranberry glass encased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in an angular block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 3" in diameter at widest point. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Only some very fine etching on the bottom, hard to see.
