El Coyote. Original Collage. online

This acrylic collage painting depicts El Coyote, the man that helps people cross the border. Like the mythological trickster coyote, El Coyote can change and hide at his whim. This painting was made on top of a Mexican game also titled El Coyote. I tried to reveal bits of the landscape as well as the shadow of a coyote under the figure's arm. This drawing was made as a part of an animation and is acrylic on paper.

There was a tear on the original game surface that was repaired and sealed with tape and paint.

It is unframed and online the final size is 11 3/4 by 17 1/2.
