Petty Knife

A Large sized petty, Handforged in charcoal from 26c3, High Carbon Steel.

Handle is solid Ash, slightly larger than standard and would suit a bigger hand comfortably.

The spine is of medium thickness, tapering to a very fine but sturdy point. This is quite an aggressive shape, you'll find the nose of the knife is versatile and nimble, and the arched heel and spine gives fantastic Knuckle clearance to work over the board. Light and Balanced in the hand.

This is a very hard online knife, it is suited to most aspect of food preparation, but must not be used on bone, or stones/pits. I do not recommend for meat carving.
