Fused Glass Plate Blue Green and online Brown Wavy Strips with Black Frame

This fused glass plate uses a "wavy strips" technique I learned from a local studio. On-edge strips of blue and green that play off of umber and white were fused together first. The black frame with white center stripe was added as a second step to complete the design. The plate was sandblasted and online then fired to a matte finish at the same time it was slumped into its final form. Edges are cold worked to a nice shine. 9.375" x 8.375" and 1.5" high.
