Beautiful antique and rare bronze medal with high reliefs of famous painter José Malhoa, 1983.
This medal was made in 1983 by the notable portuguese sculptor Cabral Antunes, laureate with national and international awards.
Considered the most Portuguese of painters, Mestre Malhoa portrays in his paintings the rural and real country, customs and traditions of the simple people of the people, as he saw and felt them. This attachment to the land he paints in landscapes overflowing with light and color is also the celebration of his humble origins as the son of farmers. The "Fado", "The Procession" or "The Harvests" are some examples of his important and vast work.
