Ornate Antique Copper 5" University of online Nebraska at Lincoln Crested Letter Opener

This is an absolutely one of a kind piece! Here is an all copper extremely ornate letter opener emblazoned with the Universitas Nebraskensis (University of Nebraska at Lincoln) Crest and Founding Date of Feb. 15, 1869. This was likely given to graduates or students in the early days online of the university as an example of their accomplishments while at the college. I have not been able to find anything like this yet. There is also an amazing dark patina on this letter opener.
