If needed, this ring could be resized by a local jeweler.

When resizing rings, it's easier and less expensive to size down. The jeweler cuts out the extra material from the bottom and solders the ends back together. When sizing up however, the most common method used is adding a little extra piece of material at the bottom. This can resize the ring up to 2 sizes larger. Resizing up costs more because of the extra materials involved.

Usually if you're unsure what size is best, it's better to go with a larger ring and have it resized down if necessary.
