Victorian Infant Baby Day Caps Or Bonnets Handmade, Lot Of 3, Tatting And Lace

These are three sweet early turn of the century infant, new born baby day caps or bonnets. A great lot and worthy of your collection

Left to Right:
Left cap is completely handmade with tatted lace with no lining.
Measures: Bonnet measures about 19" around the face. (from below earlobe over the head to below earlobe.) Depth front to back crown 7".
Condition: Has a few very small black spots on lace.
The cap is lacking its chin ties. In very good condition.

Middle cap: This cap has 5 tiers of net lace ruffles around face with tiny white flowers embroidered into net. This cap has a cream colored silk lining with original silk streamers. There is light pink silk ribbon worked into cap with a bow.
Measures: Bonnet measures about 10-1/2" around the face. (from below earlobe over the head to below earlobe.) Depth front to back crown 5-1/4".
Condition: Some lace ruffles gatherings need to be reattached. One small area of lace has separated and a few stitches will repair. An easy fix. In good condition.

Right cap: This ecru colored muslin cap still retains its double chin ties and is trimmed with lace. It is all hand stitched and hand embroidered. Adorned with valenciennes lace. No lining.
Measures: Bonnet measures about 12" around the face. (from below earlobe over the head to below earlobe.) Depth front to back crown 6".
Condition: The cap is in very good and clean condition, no holes, no stains, no repairs. No lining.
