PRODUCT DETAILS
Instantly add a splash of healing chakra colour to your home or office with this simple yet striking piece. Using only British postage stamps you will own a truly unique (and slightly retro) online slice of postal history!

The mosaic-style design uses a combination of upcycled classic Machin-design postage stamps in 15 different colours/denominations, dating from the 1960s through to the 1990s. The stamps still bear fragments of postmarks and other cancellation marks as a testament to their former active service for the Royal Mail, ensuring that each artwork has its own 'personality'.

The postage stamps are first soaked from their original envelopes, dried, then individually glued into place by hand onto a sturdy A4 mountboard (using an acid-free, xylene-free adhesive).

PLEASE NOTE, this item is made to order following the pattern shown in pictures above. There will be some variations based on exact stamps available at time of order, and of course postmarks (etc) will vary with every stamp used. However, the overall colour pattern will be as close a match as possible. (I have made every effort to represent the colours as accurately as possible, but please remember that what you see may vary due to the differences in colour representation on different computer monitors/screens.)

The reverse of the piece will be hand-stamped, dated and signed by the artist, Su Mwamba.

COLOUR OPTIONS
Please see Pic 5 if you would prefer a smaller colour range for your chevron artwork. Choose from:

Red-Orange, Green-Blue, or Blue-Purple

Artwork made in these colourways will follow the approximate colour pattern shown, but will include additional & sometimes different shades than shown. Every piece is utterly unique and just for you.

MOUNTING & FRAME DETAILS:
The artwork will be fixed into position within the mount aperture using high quality, ph neutral framing tape. Mount measures 30 x 40cm (11.8" x 15.7").

The frame provides a simple border in crisp, smooth white. It is fitted with acrylic plexi-glass (safer & lighter for shipping), and includes hook for wall-hanging. The depth of the frame means it can be free-standing on a very flat surface (pics 2 & 7), however hanging is advised for stability and safety.
