Gorgeous Vintage French Wrought Iron and Split Bamboo Cane Magazine Rack, 1920s Art online Nouveau Style Wall Hung Rack
A lovely vintage 1930s wall hung French Art Nouveau magazine rack made from wrought iron and cane. The framework of the magazine rack is made from wrought iron painted in a soft ivory cream color, with a gorgeous ivy leaf scrolling design at the top in an arch. The shelves of the rack are made from cane twigs and these are securely held in place by a kind of natural (vegetal) binding. It is extremely well made and there are no loose threads. it is a really solid item that would enhance any home, modern or rustic. It could be used for items other than magazines of course. It would even look good in the kitchen filled with dried flowers or in the bathroom too hold small rolled up towels.
