Maluaca Maui- Morning online Magic

Painting is a studio creation, morning walks to the location allowed me to be in the scene and take the visions home to the studio to paint- in sessions covering a week or so. I typically paint in plein air- on location- but the COVID quarantine did not allow us to linger in the parks.
Calm, crystal clear waters meandering through the stretch of rocky shore with the morning light just starting to light up the rocks and water. The west Maui mountains are in the distance. The kiawe trees frame the view out to the lone moored sailboat, the Kai Kanani. South Maui, Hawaii.
