This Vintage Royal Doulton Eathenware Platter/Charger in the 'Draycot' Pattern no. D4660 is in great condition for it's age. Made in 1927 according to the backstamp, this is rare as the Royal Doulton mark without the crown was not used for long. The Pattern is hand painted onto transfer and comprises blue, orange and yellow flowers in sprays of grey and green - the colours are vibrant (the photos don't do it justice). There is some fading to the blue rim around the edge of the plate, and some marks on the back which I online think are manufacturers marks, but otherwise this is a beautiful piece and would look stunning on any table or sideboard.
