Amos Amit was born and raised in Israel on a farming community in the beautiful Galilee. His work is greatly influenced by his childhood & online young adulthood in Northern Israel.
The artist was born in Israel in 1945 and raised on a moshav (farming community) in Galilee. He received his Bachelors degree in agricultural engineering at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and his Masters degree in landscape architecture at California Polytechnic Institute.
Amit has established himself as one of the leading batik artists in this country. Art critics and collectors alike have praised his unique style and highly refined technique. He has received numerous prestigious national and international awards and his works are a part of many prominent collections.
Offered in excellent condition, the print measures 4 inches high and 10 inches wide. The print is doubled matted in the colors rust and white which compliment the artwork. The matt measures 14 inches bu 10 inches.
