Vintage Butterprint Mixing Bowls – Set of 2 Turquoise Amish Butter Print Pyrex Bowls – online Vintage Nesting Mixing Bowl Set –Farmhouse Kitchen

Butterprint 402 & 403 bowls make up this set of 2 mixing bowls by Pyrex. The Amish farm turquoise design is on white glass. Pictured on 2 sides of the bowls is the Amish farm scene with the farmer, his wife, a bounty of food between them, a rooster & wheat. Pyrex introduced this farmhouse pattern in 1957 and produced it until 1968.

The 8” large bowl is marked “403” “2 1/2QT” “Trademark” “20” “Pyrex” “®” “Made in USA” “ovenware” It measures approximately 8 3/4” (22.2cm) across the top; 4” (10.2cm) across the base; 4 1/4” (10.8cm) tall.

The 7” large bowl is marked “402” “1 1/2QT” “Trademark” “36” “Pyrex” “®” “Made in USA” “ovenware” It measures approximately 7 1/4” (18.4cm) across the top; 3 3/4” (9.5cm) across the base; 3 1/2” (10.8cm) tall.

Both if the bowls are in very good to near excellent condition for their age. No cracks or chips were found. Some scratches & usage marks that one would expect of vintage glass as well as the way these bowls were used can be seen under certain lighting conditions. There is also some roughness to the interior base of the 403 bowl.

This set is perfect for any kitchen and would look fabulous on display on open shelving. They'd be so sweet in a farmhouse kitchen.
