Vintage Midcentury online MCM McCoy Pottery Large Console Leaf Bowl - Blue Gray with Burgundy Hues McCoy Pottery is a well-known American pottery company that was founded in 1848 and produced a wide range of decorative and functional pottery items. One of their popular designs is the McCoy Pottery Leaf Design bowl. This is signed Leaf Bowl which is painted with a bluish gray hue with a burgundy sponge glaze overlay. The outside of the bowl has an embossed leaf pattern and stemmed handle. It was produced during the 1950s. The bowl measures 6 3/4" at its highest by 8 1/2" wide and 9" deep (depending upon how the bowl is displayed, the width and depth can be reversed). It is in overall excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing noted. The colors and glazing are vibrant and clear. Please see pictures for overall condition. This bowl is very attractive in its own right and would be a great addition to any McCoy collection or as an accent in any home decor.
