Detailed cast metal wall sconce with a lovely aged patina. The back plate appears to be cast metal, and I could find no manufacturer's marking on the back, although there is an Underwriters Laboratories Safety sticker and an American Union-made sticker. I think this is from around the 1940s or so. Some subtle detail on the wall plate, including a bouquet at the top and detail on the two arms and cups. The molded paper candle flutes are original (I think) and in good condition. The base of the sconce measures about 10 1/8" high and it is online 7 3/4" wide measured from the outside of the bulb receptor cups, and it is 4 1/4" deep. It weighs about 1 pound, and the receptors take standard chandelier bulbs. In good condition, and like all electrical salvage it is recommended that you re-wire this (as easy DIY job) to ensure the sconce meets current codes.
