Grasshopper Vessel with Graphite Enamel online lid

This porcelain vessel is handmade and thrown on a pottery wheel. It has an image of a grasshopper and of grass fronds that were photographed by me and then online printed in gold screen print and fired onto the vessel. The lid is made of formed copper and enameled with graphite using the same image of the grass seen on the side in gold. This gives the grey color to the lid. The lid fits nicely with a cork to hold it in place. The clear glaze is thick in places on the side of the vessel.
