I call it a Wave Bowl. Others call it an art bowl. Buffet centerpiece bowl. Bohemian remote control or phone device holder. Stoneware candy dish or nut bowl. Artistic foyer keys and coin dish. A powder room potpourri dish. Or even a dresser tray to collect your rings and bracelets. A most versatile piece, it's as comfortable in the bedroom as it is in the foyer and it's interesting from every angle.

It has sexy, abstract, undulating lines that makes it quite luxurious and beautiful to view from every angle. This is one of my largest pieces, and spreads nearly 10" at its widest point and sits about 3" tall. Wide. Shallow. A natural display piece. But also very functional. IN the picture with the pears, the fruit is realistically sized: a giant pear, med pear, and mini pear.

My proprietary Midnight Merlot glaze is a thick, rich, artistic combination of three glazes (and a few technique tricks) that shows dark wine, burgundy, black, gray, and multiple shades of deep renaissance reds. online The bottom edge of the glaze has a tactile dimension, sometimes subtle, sometimes very thick and flowing. Uniquely luxurious, this glaze took me two years to perfect. (This is also quite an expensive glaze and hikes the pricing up.) I shot a few pics with a pomegranate and it was a perfect match to the glaze.
