This is a refillable journal containing thick, acid-free blank sheets of paper. Its cover is made of full grain vegetable tanned leather.
The leather is carefully carved with hand tools to make the unique design and drawing chosen by the client. It is also manually dyed, sewn and waxed. The edges are burnished to make sure the album will last for a long time. No machines are used is the process, only my computer to communicate with you and a camera to take pictures!

After you have made the purchase, I'll need the following info:

1) Photos of the house, building, landscape you want drawn. You may give some info of what you want drawn if you don't have pictures. I'll make a drawing and send it to you for your approval.

2) What title the album should have, e.g.: "Ana's memories", "Maria's trip to Alaska''. This title will be in the tag shown in the photos.

3) Any detail you would like to change or add, e.g.: a small detail in another color, for example, a small bird colored in blue; a different shape for the tag or the drawing boundaries, a message, dates, etc.

I will send you a design sketch in a few days. You can revise it and make comments before approval.
