I hand-soldered the sterling silver, textured, backplate onto a floral and vine patterned wire band. This item was made using a combination of fine and sterling silver. The band measures 6 inches long and 3/16” wide and has approximately an inch gap in the back for adjustments. This would fit a medium- sized wrist in the 6- 71/2” range. The diameter of the silver backplate is 1 inch and the domed cabochon gemstone measures approximately 3/4” across the top from bezel to bezel. Lapis Lazuli has been associated with strength ,courage,wisdom, intellect, and truth. It is thought to have many healing properties. I have textured this cuff with a permanent patina to bring out the detail in the silver. Care for this by occasionally wiping with a dry jewelry cloth.
