Pen-Annular style brooch/pins have been used for centuries as both a functional closure and a fine decorative accessory.The one I have created here works best in a medium loose weave.
Fabricated from 18 gauge sterling silver the design created is a meticulous and stunning stipple method.Light dances off the brooch with your every move.Following tradition the stick is permanently attached to the main body of brooch.Three accent points of Carnelian gemstone are added and surrounded by my tiny hand twisted braid,a symbol of infinity. Historically Carnelian has ancient talismanic properties.
