Dating anywhere from the early 1910s to the Art Deco period, may I offer this really stunning "Victorian Revival" yellow gold filled or rolled gold plate pin/brooch featuring an early plastic - celluloid - 3D cameo of a lady. Simple c-clasp closure helping to ascertain the age of the piece. The casting of the mold is really terrific with a good strike to all parts of the image; mold holes to the reverse of the piece. Size is 2" high x 1-3/8"; depth is about 7/16". Weight is 12.4 grams. Excellent overall condition with a mellow patina to the yellow gold metal - no problems (other than some dust) to the cameo.
