My Grandmother made a herbal salve for everything. This recipe has been in our family for many generations. She gathered most of her herbs herself and bartered for the rest. She even collected her own beeswax from her hives. My mother added the Tea Tree and Vitamin E Oils and I think it just makes this even better. We don't have our own beehives, but we do use only the best-filtered beeswax that we can find. Sometimes we use white beeswax and other times we use yellow beeswax thus sometimes the salve will be darker colored, but it is all the same. There are no petroleum products at all in this herbal salve, it is all natural. This salve is a wonderful topical treatment. We package it to you just as my Granny did in 1/2 cup (4 oz) canning jars.

This Arnica and Comfrey herbal salve combines the healing properties of Arnica and Comfrey along with the rejuvenating power of Tea Tree and Vitamin E Oils. Arnica is used extensively in sports medicine. Comfrey has been used for centuries to care for the skins.
