With duplicate copies in various editions of several works.
With watercolours by the likes of E.W. Haslehust, the set offers ornate depictions and descriptions of several counties, cities and towns which were deemed appropriately picturesque for the series, including Cambridge, Wincheser and Bath.
As such, there are colour plates of the likes of Pulteney Bridge, Winchester Catheral and Peterhouse College, places that were largely untouched by the conflicts and turmoil of the last centuries.
