About Butter Jade Stone:
Butter Jade has a creamy yellow colour with darker stripes throughout. It is another form of African Jade and is sometimes also known as Butter stone. The darker stripes found in this attractive yellow-green sedimentary rock are actually layers containing fossilized algae. This type of stone is typically around 50 million years old, very hard and brittle.
