VINTAGE KITTY BLOOMIES.. (short bloomers)

elasticated waist for an easy, comfy fit.. these bloomies are a shorter version of my signature pattern bloomers, great under tunics, skirts, dresses or with a tank top.. Victorian, shabby chic, steampunk.. dress them up any way you like..
seam binding ribbon ties join the leg and cuff in a cotton lace casing...... tighten the ribbon above the cuff for more of a balloon effect in the leg, or loosen for a wider, straighter look.. I usually always stitch one of my signature Vintage Kitty rose girl patches on the back unless the fabric pattern doesn't suit, then there will be a label elsewhere..


This pair:
This pair has been made from gorgeous vintage cross stitched cotton cloth, off white with gorgeous bright roses and some pulled work... I've teamed this some pretty vintage pastel striped sheeting for the cuffs.. too cute!
hand dyed mint green cotton lace casing and indigo seam binding ribbon ties finish the look.. these will go with many outfits in lovely vintagey pastels and some of your brights..

On the back, as always, one of my Vintage Kitty signature rose girl patches over another piece of the vintage pastel stripe..

I would describe this pair as med - large, (you can alter the elastic once you get them home if you need to, but please do check the measurements below to make sure they will fit you..there is usually ample fabric in my bloomers to fit lots of different sizes... )

waist RELAXED elastic, one side 16 inches (40.5 cm) , stretches out to a maximum waist 21 inches (53 cm) across ONE side, so double for full circumference,
max hips 25 online inches (63.5cm) one side
top of thigh side to side 15 1/2 inches (39.5cm)
inside leg to hem 14 inches ( 35.5 cm)
outside leg - waist to hem is 27 inches (68 cm), waist to lace casing, 20 1/2 inches (52cm)
rise in front 15 inches (38 cm) and in back, 16 inches (40.5 cm)

*washing instructions.. hand wash or machine in cold or tepid water on delicate and lay flat to dry..
*these bloomers have delicate lace components.. please wear gently.. imperfections, tiny marks or repairs, if any are part of the charm of wearing beautiful re-created garments.. please know that I would not offer anything that I wouldn't wear myself..
