Phosphosiderite is named after its composition: phosphate and iron (from the Greek "sideros" for iron). It is hard to believe that natural gemstones of such a vibrant and online deep colour exist! :)
This rare gemstone has an amazing deep purple shade - the colour of the orchid flowers. I could not resist to take a photo of the earrings with my blooming orchids as a background.

Graded A+, these orchid coloured Phosphosiderite long teardrops measure 35x8 mm and are half drilled at the top. They dangle from intricately designed sterling silver earrings findings. The earrings findings are in a shape of a bow, encrusted with sparkling cubic zirconia stones and feature a secure latch back closure.
The gleaming zirconia highlight the beauty of the Phosphosiderite drops.
The gemstones are attached to the silver bows with sterling silver caps with pegs.
