This is a cashmere sweater that I eco dyed using Eucalyptus leaves and seed pods. Eco dyeing is the process where leaves, branches, flowers, etc. are laid on fabric. The process allows the botanicals to release their natural dyes leaving distinct imprints on the fabric. The dyes are permanent and hand washable. An aubergine over-dye was applied as a finishing accent color.
The sweater has 3/4 length sleeves and a cowl type turtleneck collar with cute accent buttons. The collar can be worn unbuttoned or buttoned. See photos. There is a loose ribbed band at the bottom edge and on the sleeve edges. It is a mid-weight cashmere that is very soft and cuddly, and has a great drape. There are no flaws known.
The sweater is a size Small. Laid flat the measurements are:
Bust - 31" unstretched
Sleeves, measured from shoulder - approximately 16.5"
Length, measured from center back - 23.5"
Bottom Edge - 34", unstretched
All sweaters have stretch. This sweater can be worn loose or snugly. It is recommended that you compare these measurements to a sweater that you like the way it fits.
This is a beautiful one of a kind garment. It can be dressed up for a sophisticated event, or dressed down, worn with jeans for a casual look. It is a great winter staple. However you choose to wear it, this unique, one of a kind show stopper is truly a piece of wearable art.
