Black and White Plaid Trucker Jacket - Vintage Handmade Upcycled Curtains/ online Tablecloth Fall Orange Floral Hipster Slow Fashion

This jacket is cut slightly oversized, perfect to wear with a sweater or another layer underneath. Model in photos has a 42" bust for reference. Shoulder to hem is 28" long. Circumference at hem is 47.5".

It is made entirely of vintage, upcycled textiles. The black and white plaid body of the jacket was a table cloth and has a lovely, woven texture. The accents are made of floral print curtains, which also has a nice, heavy weight to it. The back panel is a colorful, vibrant fabric wall calendar from 1974. The text along the bottom reads "Smooth runs the water where the brook is deep."

I had so much fun working to make this piece as well-constructed as possible. All of the seams are flat-felled. The zipper is finished with a facing on the inside and the band at the hem closes with a metal button. The sleeves are cuffed and also close with a metal button. The two pockets on the front are real and are 6.5" deep.

This jacket would be so cute for the fall. It is a mid-weight fabric, comparable to a jean jacket and the colors are so fitting for autumn.

There is a separate listing for the matching bucket hat. I would love to see these items bought together, as they are matching, one of a kind pieces! I do not have any more of these fabrics, making this jacket and hat the only ones in the world that are exactly like it.

I suggest washing this garment as gently as possible, due to the age of the textiles. Wash on a delicate cycle and hang to dry. Alternatively, it can be hand washed. Can be ironed on a cotton setting.
