I design a variety of mancave woodworking projects and sell the construction plans of those projects online at mancavewoodworking.com. I have worked as a woodworking magazine editor, writer, and designer for over 40 years. This design results from my love of sampling beers at all of those wonderful microbreweries around the country. Unfortunately, great beers are currently served up at these places using boards that have holes drilled in them or cupcake pans. Being a creative woodworker, I wanted to design online something that serves as a piece of functional art that equals the craftsmanship that brewers apply to their various offerings. Because I love music and the form of musical instruments, I designed my flight server to look like a soprano ukulele, the favorite instrument in Hawaii. The form is perfect, allowing you to serve a flight of beers by holding the neck of the guitar, which, by the way, includes a fretboard having real frets. Consider offering a unique selection of beers at your next function using this imaginative server. Talk about a conversation piece!
