Hornsea Owl Pepper Cruet in Blue designed by online John Clappison

This lonely little chap came to us recently and is a little knocked about. Still, he comes in the much sought after and rare cobalt blue so we still feel lucky.

Designed by John Clappison and from the 70's they are as iconic as they are rare.

As is pretty standard for the cruet owls online, there is damage to the ears as shown in the pictures. He's still exceptionally cute and remains very collectable.

The stopper has a snug fit although could probably be replaced easily either with plastic or Cork perhaps. We left as is for now.
