Orrefors Amber glass online Otter for WWF, limited edition collectible, Swedish vintage design Olle Alberius

This highly collectible Otter was designed by Olle Alberius in 1974, for Orrefors glassworks.
COMES IN THE ORIGINAL BOX!
Absolute mint condition.
The Otter was only made in 8000 pieces, and is a part of the series ”Endangered Animals” glass figurines.

The environmental organization "World Wildlife Fund" (WWF) issued a collection series of endangered animals from 1973 to 1987. This was done in collaboration with the company" Svenskt Glas" and the Swedish glassworks in Kosta, Orrefors, and Reijmyre. Each year, a new glass figurine was launched in an edition of 4000 or online 8000 pieces.
The bottom of the figurine is signed by the artist, and provides information on the edition size, designer, and glasswork,
ind this case Orrefors.

Otter measure 17,5 cm long and 7 cm tall.
