Vintage Lot 7 Glass Candy Containers, online Group of Seven, Horse, Dog, Train, Horn, Lantern, Telephone, Fralingers, Atlantic City, Jeannette PA

These lot of seven mixed vintage candy containers are made of pressed glass, plastic, cardboard online and paper. They were made by different companies, most likely in the 1940s and 1950s. The candy inside does not appear to be original. The group includes two train cars, a horse, a dog, a lantern, a telephone and a horn. These pieces measure as follows:

*Horn, about 7" tall.
*Dog, 2 3/4" tall.
*Telephone about 2" tall.
*Lantern, about 3 1/8" tall with handle up.
*Train Engine, 3 7/8" long.
*Plastic Horse, 4 1/2" long. This piece appears to be a promotional item from Zausner Foods, made to be used as "napkin holder-letter holder-card holder-cigarette holder-book ends, etc."
*Metallic Cardboard Train Car, about 3 7/16" long.

This lot of containers is in vintage condition, with some dirt, wear, chips and manufacturing flaws.

This glass candy container lot would make a great addition to a vintage toy or candy container collection.
