Vintage Alfred Meakin Platter, (1930s) hand decorated Rosecliffe 11" online Platter, 18 kt gold border, pink and green, scalloped edge
A very rare, mint condition 11" platter in the Rosecliffe pattern, crafted by Alfred Meakin Ltd., operating from the Royal Albert, Victoria and Highgate Potteries in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England.
Excellent vintage condition
This piece has a rectangular shape, with scalloped edge surrounding with a cream base, and pink roses and greenery pattern around the 18 kt. gold finished rim.
Great for a country kitchen, boho or shabby chic them! It it dates from the late 1930s to early 1940s -- as Meakin changed it's backstamp after the Second World War.
