Jules Story:
Meet Jules, Forensic Accountant.
One of our new Intriguing Faces painting series. Every Face tells a story; some stories are easy to guess, others may be a bit of a surprise, but all are intriguing.
Jules when not in school spent much of her childhood playing outside from dawn to dusk, riding bikes, climbing trees. She loved problem solving, puzzles, history and treasure hunts. Much to her mother's chagrin Jules eschewed frilly things unlike her twin sister Josephine. Her father always wanted a son to take over the family business and didn't have one, so Jules was his designee.
In order to be prepared and positioned to step in her father's oversized wingtips, she decided to become a CPA accountant and better understand financial statements. Where other people see boring black and white income statements - Jules sees the numbers in technicolor. She found a passion with forensic accounting. For Jules, it's a combination of part treasure hunt and part putting together a difficult puzzle. But better because there's no picture on the box of what the end result will look like. She's online often called in to help with financial embezzlement cases.
When Jules is not up to her elbows in financial reports and corresponding documents, she riding her bike or hanging out with her twin Josephine, the Socialite. They are planning a biking vacation through Provence next summer. Lucky women, we are jealous.
