Hand Carved Aztec Tribal Mask : carved from a hollowed out piece of a heavy dense weight wood, this vintage mask measures 15" tall x 5" wide x 1.5" deep (38 x 21 x 7 cm) and deeply sculpted with the details of a deity of Aztec, Incan or Mayan inspiration. The incisions are deep, giving a sheen to the shadows and making it more visual from a distance.
In very good vintage condition, with minor age appropriate wear on the edges. This piece is heavy and has a cording on the back for mounting it on online a wall. I do not know its country of origin, but would guess some region of Central or South America.
It will compliment any mask collection or boho decor.
