A very whimsical Granny-shaped teapot, featuring a metal handle reminiscent of an old wood stove. A pair of glasses perch on her nose, and a lovely speckled kerchief adorns her neck.

The glaze colour is a deep chestnut brown, reminds me very much of Hull pottery or some Medalta, which is very online popular here in Canada.

With it's great texture, this piece would look lovely in a mid century modern or retro kitchen or home.
