Description: This is an exceptionally attractive cluster of three highly lustrous azurite crystals from a very productive mine in Mexico.

This is a thumbnail-sized specimen, but we have not mounted it in a thumbnail box. If you'd prefer it in a clear, hinged box, let us know and we will re-mount it.

The specimen is hot-glued to the base. We use hot glue because if sets up quickly, conforms to the shape of the specimen, and is easily removed. Some pertinent points:
Should you want to re-mount the specimen, the hot glue may be removed by dabbing alcohol on the crystal and glue -- that breaks the bond, and the glue comes away very easily.
It would not be unusual for the specimen to release from the glue during shipping, especially if the matrix is sandy or friable. We will pack the specimen so that hopefully the crystal is not damaged in the event of release. If the specimen separates from the glue, you should simply re-attach it, using any glue you wish to use, or even tack (a putty-like material)

We VERY carefully wrap and pack our specimens, and ship out within 1-2 days.
